Miscommunication had played a huge role in the Dardanelle Campaign, better known as the Battle of Gallipoli. It made a plan that seemed well thought out turn into a disaster on the battlefield. It led to many complications because of the rushed planning, miscalculations and more. It caused a huge amount of deaths along with injuries and was known as one of the worst events in history. The Battle of Gallipoli is an event with an unfortunate outcome, communication is key and should not be taken for granted. Miscommunication like this should be remembered, so things like this won't repeat in the near future.
The price to be paid in taking Gallipoli would no doubt be heavy, but there would be no more war with Turkey. A good army of 50,000 and sea-power—that is the end of the Turkish menace.”
- Winston Churchill
